100% profits will be going to CFTA (The Culture & Free Thought Association). The CFTA is one of the largest and most active networks of human rights organization in the Gaza Strip and are based in Khan Younis. During the third year of the First Intifida in 1987, five Palestinian women wondered how it was possible to protect Palestinian children and assist them in learning, growing, and thriving in a healthy and safe environment amidst the violence of the occupation. The first CFTA center, Al Shruq Wal Amal (Sunrise and Hope), was established in 1991 as a result of this simple concept.
Today, they have since grown to five community centers that provide cultural, educational, health, and well-being services to Palestinian children, women, people with disabilities, marginalized communities and more.
The amazing Majeda is the director of CFTA and thank you to Nuriya, for guiding us to Majeda and this amazing Palestinian organization! Your funds will go to either winterization materials and clothing, food for the community, and purchasing more equipment that got looted and stolen this past year. The equipment was for an online radio that advocates for children's programs, youth sports and music programs, interviews and reports stories!
